Back in May, our incredible dancers, the DAZL Diamonds, took to the stage at the Rebellious Dance Promotions for the very first time and what an unforgettable experience it was!

From the moment they stepped onto the competition floor, the dancers showed amazing courage, commitment, and confidence. They worked incredibly hard in the lead-up to the event, supported one another throughout the day, and represented with pride and professionalism.

We are so proud to celebrate the fantastic results they achieved at their first-ever competition. More importantly, we are proud of the determination, teamwork, resilience, and self-belief they demonstrated every step of the way. 🌟

A huge thank you goes to Rebellious Dance Promotions, who very kindly donated all of their trophies to our dancers as recognition of their first competition, hard work, dedication, and confidence. This generous gesture meant so much to the young people and has given them a lasting reminder of what they can achieve when they believe in themselves. 💜

Thank you, Rebellious, for your kindness and support of the next generation of dancers. 💜

And finally, congratulations to every single dancer, your journey is only just beginning, and we can’t wait to see what you achieve next! ✨

What an incredible day for our LS9 Club members at Burmantofts Gala 2026!

Our amazing young people proudly represented Dance Action Zone Leeds (DAZL) and Inspiring Positive Futures, taking to the stage with confidence, energy, and enthusiasm. The girls delivered a fantastic performance, showcasing the talent, commitment, and positivity that makes the LS9 Club so special.

The day wasn't just about performing – our young people were also busy promoting the club, engaging with local residents, and handing out recruitment materials to encourage even more young people to get involved in the exciting opportunities available through the LS9 Project.

A huge thank you to Burmantofts & Richmond Hill Leeds City Councillors Luke Farley, Nkele Manaka, and Asghar Khan for your continued support of our partnership between Dance Action Zone Leeds and Inspiring Positive Futures. Your belief in the vision of the LS9 Project from the very beginning has helped us create opportunities that continue to make a real difference to young people's lives.

We are proud of every young person who represented the club and demonstrated the values of confidence, community, creativity, and ambition throughout the day.

🏆💜 DAZL Empire Freestyle Inspiration – Preston 💜🏆

"Just one more grade point stands between you and Champion status, Preston. Trust the journey, trust the process, and keep dancing with the same heart that got you this far.

Dance is your medicine. It lifts you, strengthens you, and helps you grow. Every training session, every competition, and every point earned is part of your story. Let those final grade points take their course, knowing that greatness comes to those who stay patient and keep believing.

What makes a true champion isn't just the trophies or titles—it's the way you support others. Your encouragement for fellow dancers, your respect for other schools, and your love for the freestyle community show the character of a real role model.

Keep inspiring. Keep supporting. Keep dancing. The champion title is within reach, but the champion mindset is already yours." ✨
