Experience the season and discover the sounds that inspire you. We programme more than 200 concerts a year in the Leeds area. The season also includes the UK’s finest brass band series at Morley Town Hall, and the International Chamber Season and International Piano Series at The Venue, Leeds Conservatoire. A unique series of sixty lunchtime chamber and organ recitals offers the most extensive pro

gramme of free music in Britain. Music moves outside in the summer for Summer Bands in Leeds Parks. The Sound Out Leeds series is a journey into extraordinary classical music that combines daring programming, unique venues with exceptional musicians from across the globe. We've partnered with the triennial Wigmore Hall String Quartet Competition to award a prize-winning quartet a three year residency in Leeds. Every three years we'll welcome a new quartet to the residency. The quartet in residence for 2022-24 is the Leonkoro Quartet. For more information about our events please visit our website.

🎶Leeds Lunchtime Music returns this Autumn!🎶

Take a break from busy schedules and join us for new seasons of the popular Organ and Chamber free lunchtime concerts, beginning Monday 14th September.

Begin your week with Leeds Lunchtime Organ Series, curated by Leeds City Organist Darius Battiwalla, which features organists from the UK and beyond treating you to impressively impactful performances in the grand surroundings of Leeds Cathedral.

Meanwhile on Wednesdays at Leeds Conservatoire, outstanding emerging artists from leading conservatoires and international stages present rich and varied programmes, performing everything from much-loved classics to contemporary works, in an intimate and up-close space.

Have you caught one of our Summer Bands in Leeds Parks yet? 😎🎺🌞🌼

We are now into the last two months of our free outdoor concerts! Taking place in a number of parks across the Leeds Region, performed by a fantastic selection of brass, wind and concert bands, they're a fantastic chance to sit back and enjoy some live music with family and friends.

With 35 parks hosting concerts, there's bound to be one happening at a park near you. And with no booking required, you can simply turn up and enjoy the music!

Exciting news! General booking is now open for the Evening Chamber Series and Piano Series 2026/2027!

🎶Curated by pianist Simon Callaghan, this season's Chamber Series, titled 'In The Shadows of Giants', will introduce you to extraordinary works that have been often overlooked. Starting on 6th of October, this series will run on Tuesdays at Leeds Conservatoire.

🎹 In partnership with Leeds International Piano Competition, the Piano Series continues to bring you internationally renowned pianists to perform a selection of inspiring repertoire. Beginning with competition winner Eric Lu on Friday 16th October, the six concerts will take place at Leeds Conservatoire.

Come along to our concert on 7th July to hear Opus13 play Kryštof Mařatka’s piece AMEDEA Visage de Jeune Fille. 🎶

Commissioned for Vibre! String Quartet Festival, the piece's title references the painter Modigliani. Mařatka describes having an affinity with Modigliani, through combining universal archaic techniques with contemporary processes.

The piece has been described as having a ‘fascinating mix of past and present.’ (Quatuors á Bordeaux).
