“Hiya! My name’s George, I’ll be playing Larry in Leeds Conservatoire’s Company! I cannot wait to put on my ‘red shoes’ and start rehearsals! This Company company is honestly so special and everyone is insanely talented I’m so excited for you to see us shine ✨ How lucky am I to call this lot my friends eh? Couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the new year than performing another Sondheim! I’m thrilled!
My favourite line from the show has always been “I find it unbelievably humiliating watching my own husband flouncing around the dance floor, jerking and sashaying all over the place like Ann Miller”.” 🍸

Exploring the complex marriage between Danielle and Jenny will be a welcome challenge and I love that I have no idea what to expect! I’m counting down the days until I can be in the rehearsal room with such a beautiful and talented cast and creative team - this will be a show you won’t want to miss!! It’s gonna bring up many important discussions within the rehearsal room and I am excited to see what Sarah Tipple, our director, brings out in the relationship between Jenny and Danielle and how this impacts on Bobby!
