We're looking for a freshers rep to join the committee!

As the freshers rep, you'll be the key voice and point of contact between the committee and the 1st year members of the society. You'll have the opportunity to join in discussions about society events, make suggestions on behalf of your peers and get a feel for how we run the society. Additionally, you'll gain some responsibility during events, helping to make sure everything runs smoothly. This role is perfect for anyone considering a larger committee role next year!

Nominations are now open and close on the 25th and the role will begin immediately and end at the end of this academic year.

(Please note only a student in their 1st year of study can become the freshers rep)

Join us for the Whitby Goth festival this month on the 2nd of November! We will shortly be selling tickets for a coach ride up to Whitby for the yearly event. This trip frequently sells out, so make sure you get your tickets!
The coach will LEAVE Parkinson Steps at 9:30am, so be sure to get there for 9:15 so we can collect attendance. We will LEAVE Whitby at 7 pm so again please arrive back at the coach station by 6:45. Committee will be available to anyone who needs assistance with anything on the trip.
Please make sure you fill out all paperwork before the 2nd of November, or you will be unable to attend.
