After 46 wonderful years, the time has come for World of Dance to close its doors.
Our final day in the shop will be 11th April.
My journey with World of Dance actually began when I was just 11 years old, working Saturdays in the shop — and my Mum & Maureen paid me £1 for the privilege! I never imagined then that I’d go on to take over the business, and spend my life doing something I truly love…
I’ve had the absolute privilege of serving some truly amazing customers, sharing countless memories, and making lifelong friends along the way. Thank you to every single person who has supported us over the years — it has meant more than I can ever say.
I have also been so lucky to have the most amazing, loyal staff past and present. A small team, but a huge part of the World of Dance story. They know who they are - thank you, always ❤️
While the shop is closing, the World of Dance website will remain open, and I’ll still be offering mobile pointe shoe fittings, which I’m delighted to say I’m doing more and more of. I’m happy to come and visit you at your dance school, college or studio.
We’ll also be holding a huge closing-down sale, with lots of bargains to be had, so please do pop in and say hello before we go. I’d love to see you.
