✨ NEW CHILDREN’S STREET DANCE CLASS ✨

We’re so excited to share that bookings are now open for our brand new Children’s Street Dance class, starting Monday 8th June 💥

🕔 Mondays at 5:00pm

Our Street Dance classes introduce dancers to a range of foundations and grooves including Hip Hop, Locking, Popping and House.

Dancers will learn basic moves and foundations from street styles, helping to build musicality, co‑ordination, confidence and individuality in a fun, high‑energy way.

Street Dance is perfect for children looking to express themselves in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment 🤍

Last Sunday, our Ballroom & Latin Team took to the floor for their first interschool competition of the year!

They danced with confidence, commitment and a huge amount of team spirit, showcasing all of the hard work they’ve put in over the last few months. We couldn’t be prouder of how they represented themselves and RISE, both on and off the floor.

On Sunday, our Teen Street Team took to the floor for the competitive debut of RISE DMC! A huge milestone for both the dancers and the studio.

They performed with commitment, resilience and a real sense of teamwork, showing the hard work they’ve put in over the past few months. We were so proud of the way they supported one another and represented Team RISE, both on and off the floor.

No two dancers are the same, and neither is the way they learn. Our teachers take the time to get to know each dancer, adapting how they explain, demonstrate and support so everyone has the opportunity to grow with confidence, at their own pace.

Progress isn’t about rushing or keeping up. It's about understanding, encouragement and consistency. Whether a dancer is just starting out or continuing their journey, our teachers are there to guide, support and celebrate every step along the way.

✨ Brand New Class at RISE: BarreConcept with Milly! ✨

We’re excited to introduce BarreConcept to Farsley. Barre is a style of class that’s become increasingly popular in boutique studios across the city centre, and one we’re thrilled to be bringing to RISE this April.

BarreConcept blends elements of Pilates, Yoga, conditioning and Ballet into a dynamic, full‑body workout. Expect low‑impact, high‑energy movement designed to build strength, improve posture and increase mobility, all set to uplifting music.

BarreConcept is led by the brilliant Milly, who has trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance and Ballet Cymru. This class offers strength, flow and encouragement in equal measure. It’s supportive, empowering and suitable for dancers, fitness lovers and complete beginners alike! No experience required.

(No class Easter Sunday — first Sunday session is 12th April.)

Join us for our Valentine’s Ballroom & Latin Social Dance on Saturday 14th February, at our studio in Springfield Mill, Farsley. It’s a relaxed and welcoming evening. Perfect for practicing your dancing, enjoying the music, and spending a lovely Valentine’s weekend night together.
