Wow yesterday was fun, managed to get 12 cards drawn and out in the post before tea time, hoorah! And you lot are so beautiful, honestly, some cuuuute couples this year - some new couples too that I recognise from last year - isn’t that amazing!!

Don’t usual post to my grid on a weekend, but just a little reminder that this is the last push for Valentines now. I’ll be doing my final drawing early next week to get all in the post by Thursday

So we are in to February already! Wow. The year is dripping away, yikes! But I’m all for it - the mornings feel brighter and more productive already 🌈 yes yes yes!
❤️Last few days on valentines orders now, the postal turnaround times have been fantastic for these - so I can keep open a little longer than originally planned. Hoorah! 🎉

Another Valentines flurry yesterday, huge thank you! I forgot how much I love drawing these simple cards - a very therapeutic task drawing all the love ❤️
We had such a lovely lunch out yesterday, for a moment I didn’t have to carry all the tasks and worries that get pretty damn heavy at times! My wonderful husband made us feel so so special by secretly paying our bill before we even got there. How freaking lovely is that. I cried at the table as I am such a soppy muppet these days. Although, when the maitre de asked for me, and said he had a message from Oliver - I assumed there was something wrong with the kids!! 😆❤️

❤️Wow my DMs have never been so busy after your support on yesterdays story. Thank you 😊 So many in the same situation. I feel a little calmer this morning, Z slept well, J not so much, will attempt double nursery drop off - but who even knows how today will pan out 🤞🏻📞
❤️A lot of you shared how you cope with your poorly little ones - working from home, flexible working hours, dependency leave, family support, nanny’s over nursery, career sacrifices 🤯
❤️An overwhelming amount of equally stressed mums got in touch, I hear you! You’ve got this, use your people to support the wobble - and in the wise words passed on from a friend when I shared my worry about perception and what people think… “those that mind don’t matter, those that matter don’t mind” ❤️

Well yesterday was a bit of a Valentines flurry wasn’t it! It had been a while since I had heard the little Etsy “ka-ching” on my phone.
❤️First batch out in the post today, so if you were an early bird yours is probably on its way soooon
❤️Some BIG decisions to make for the future of HEY JACOB - priorities, boundaries, balance, wellbeing etc. Will keep you updated as I filter through all the mush in my head ❤️

❤️ Our First Valentine’s Day ❤️
Yesterday’s nursery run was a total success, the boys were fab and I spent the rest of the day feeling proper chuffed about nailing the drop off (it’s the little things!!)
Had a good dose of fresh air yesterday, and an absolutely lush coffee from ☕️

I’m doing the double nursery drop off this morning, wish me luck! I packed their bags last night, left their bulky coats at nursery, and have their clothes laid out on the kitchen floor to wrestle them into between bowls of Cheerios 😆

Ohhh my it’s chilly! But it’s looking like it’ll be a gorgeous day - the sky here is a beautiful apricot colour - gorgeous!
