INTRODUCING: Martha // Martha has created experimental piece ‘So What Lingers’, taking inspiration from what she misses during isolation. It uses animations of gestures from old videos and fond memories of the past year, layered over clips of the outdoors. Everyone is walking through these spaces they call home and it feels strange to reminisce about them when you're still standing within them. There's memories you associate with each location that are intangible - they're merely the essence of the place lingering, waiting for you until you can retrieve them again. Thank you Martha for this beautiful piece, and happy birthday! 💕
