Here is the rest of the iceberg. On the surface you see/hear a 3-5 mins song. But what you don’t see is the time, money, effort created behind making that one song. This is just one angle of insight to the costs of a songwriter. It varies (mainly increases from there). This is why the gig scene is so important because it FUNDS this creative process. In An ideal world it would cost less than how much an artist gets from their release. But this is reality and it is also why we are actively pushing for change. On top of this COVID has stopped the gig scene. The tip jar we have started is to add value to a career in music. Without funds artists cannot create this magic. Please be a part of this community and support artists. Small contributions go a long way. Every pound counts 🤓😁
