WORK IN PROGRESS // There’s something a little different going on in the studio. These slower, more dormant months have created space for something new. The same delicious colours, same passion for the way they interact, just a calmer, softer, gentler approach… and fully abstract. Maybe just for these darker months… but while I’m in the moment, I’m running with it ❤️

ADVENTURE // Just returned from a few days in the Lake District to perk up January and my heart is full. Roaring fires, a twilight spa, gorgeous grub, walks on tap, a dip in the lake, big chats and a whole load of silliness… with 6 of the best 💖

We stayed in a cottage on Derwentwater with no signal and sheep for neighbours. Now brimming with inspiration and a head full of ideas - this place always has this effect on me ❤️

It’s the 7th already! Happy New Year guys, I really hope it’s been a lovely one all round and a good start to 2026!

It’s always a delayed start back for me with a certain small person’s birthday on the 5th and all the fun that surrounds it. It comes off the back of a really busy couple of weeks.

Since I last posted, I’ve had: a Yorkshire Christmas, a gorgeous winter wedding, family time in the Cotswolds, New Year fun in Leeds, icy walks, frosty runs, and a couple of birthday parties to throw. Now I’m full of cold 😂

Easing myself back in gently this week. What’s your approach to January?
