Hi Everyone
The famous LSO (Leeds Summer Orchestra) will (hopefully) be back again this summer starting early July to run till end of August (actual dates will be confirmed nearer the time)
Times will be as last year 7.30pm to 9.30pm, Thursday evenings, and the venue will be as last year, Moortown Methodist Church, Moortown, Leeds 17.
Pieces chosen to play so far are 1) Opening movement of a Mozart symphony (as used in the film Amadeus 2) A piece from the film world by Ennio Morricone 3) a "Love theme" from an old tv series (one you will all know) and 4) a Waltz you wont have heard but its great fun. Other pieces will be sourced nearer the date (PS let me know if you would like to play a particular piece or if you have a suitable piece we could play)
Costs may have to rise a little as overheads keep going up (everything goes up except our wages !!) However if we get plenty of people attending we should be able to keep costs low, as long as overheads are covered that's all I'm worried about.
Looking forward to seeing you all again in summer
Cheers
Russell
