It has come to our attention that a very inappropriate group made a private booking at the venue that Amplified has been using for almost a year. We had no prior knowledge of this booking and are very disturbed and disappointed that it occurred.
Furthermore, as our community is mostly young LGBTQ+ students, we know it wouldn’t be responsible to continue to use The Drysalters as our venue.
We apologise for any offence this situation has made and hope our supporters and the people we work with will continue to attend our Amplified nights, as we move on to a new venue.
