I'm Karis (pronounced Paris with a K), a photographer from Leeds, Yorkshire, though my work often takes me far beyond. I thrive on variety, which is why I've built a business that covers everything from grand weddings and large events to heartfelt family portraits and focused portable studio sessions. For me, it's all about capturing the genuine moment, whatever the environment. My passion for pho
tography started young, and I built a strong foundation at Leeds City College studying photography. Following on from this, my degree in Digital Journalism taught me how to blend technical skill with powerful storytelling. When the camera's down, you can find me enjoying time with my husband, son, and dog, often travelling in our campervan. Giving back is also important to me; I've taken on tough challenges to raise money for charity, such as the Leeds Marathon, UWCB boxing match, and, most recently, skydiving for Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis.
