Two wonderful shows completed, so it’s time to say farewell to ‘Love Letters’. This bittersweet play has been a joy to stage and we will miss it! Thanks, firstly to Janie and Jeff for bringing Melissa and Andy to such vivid life; truly memorable performances. To Janie (again!) and Beth for a superb set; to Peter for quite excellent light and sound. Penny and her team at The Trout, as ever, supported and encouraged us amazingly. What a great pub it is! Particular thanks on this occasion to Scott, Dave, Jack and Josh. And as ever and most importantly, thanks to our truly fantastic audiences. Your reception to this play made us very happy, and we’re very grateful.

We’re delighted to launch our spring show this weekend… ‘Love Letters’ by A.R. Gurney. Described by Time magazine as “one of the four or five best American plays of the ‘80’s”, this Pulitzer-nominated work tells the story of two friends, through the letters they exchange from childhood to adulthood. Both funny and poignant, the play delivers an intimate look at the characters' bittersweet relationship, missed opportunities and deep connection.
