This aquascape was a result of changing out multiple layers of substrate that had become quite messy and replacing it with some simple Oase scaper soil. We decided to keep the hardscape simple with a few pieces of wood and easy to maintain plants like Anubias and Bucephalandra.

With there already being some well established plants in this tank, particularly the Vallis, we wanted to keep these while still adding in some more hardscape with the wood and rocks for some colour and contrast. Attaching some Bucephalandra keeps things simple but beautiful.

30L tank. The client wanted an easy-planted tank to maintain as well as planning on having bottom-dwelling fish. With that in mind, we kept to mostly slow-growing plants such as Anubias, Bucephalandra and Moss on wood, creating caved areas but keeping most of the ground space clear.
