What an incredible achievement. It’s been so exciting watching you both grow in confidence, work so hard, and come so far. It’s been especially wonderful to see you develop and grow together as duet partners - building such a strong partnership along the way. You both deserve this so much 💙

Today's look back is from 2018 when we took this wonderful bunch up to London to perform at Her Majesty's Theatre.

What an incredible experience it was for our dancers – performing on such an iconic stage and experiencing the magic of the West End 🎭

Looking back at photos like this reminds me just how lucky we are to have shared so many special moments over the years. Dance is about so much more than learning steps and routines. It's about being part of a team and sharing unforgettable experiences 🩵

And while we're reminiscing, let's not mention the unitards that still haunt some of our students to this day... 😂

As we count down to our Prize Giving and 10th Birthday Celebration, we're taking a look back at some of our favourite memories over the years.

Today's throwback takes us all the way back to our very first show at the school. What an incredible weekend it was! Seeing our dancers take to the stage, full of excitement and confidence - this is a moment I'll never forget. Little did we know then that it would be the start of so many wonderful performances, achievements, friendships and memories.

Come and join us as we celebrate a very special milestone - Dance First's 10th Birthday 🎈

This whole-school event will bring together our Dance First family for an afternoon of celebration and recognition. We will also be holding our annual Prize Giving, where we will celebrate our students' examination achievements and present our school awards in recognition of their hard work, dedication, and success throughout the year 🎉

In addition, all classes will be showcasing class and exam work, giving family and friends the opportunity to see what our students have been learning and working on in class throughout the year

⭐️IMPORTANT - RSVP REQUIRED⭐️
It is very important that you let us know whether your child will be attending this event by emailing the office. This information is required for the presentation of examination certificates and school awards. We do also need to keep track of numbers for seating and refreshments 🧁🫖

Please email us the following information✏️
• Whether your child will or will not be attending
• The total number of family members attending (please note that attendance is limited to a maximum of 4 family members per student, excluding students)

From rehearsals to the stage – here are our half-term highlights! ✨

Not only did we compete at the AED Regional Finals, but we also attended the Tonbridge Dance Festival this week!

The dancers achieved some incredible results at Tonbridge, and to top off an amazing week, we came home with 5️⃣ awards:

What a week 🩵

I am completely overwhelmed with pride from this week and everything you achieved together at AED Regional Finals. Watching you step onto that stage filled me with so much emotion. Seeing you stand taller with pride and confidence alone means everything to me.

Thank you for trusting the process, for believing in yourselves and for giving everything you had on that stage. You continue to inspire me every day. I hope you know how proud you should be of yourselves because I certainly am. This is only the beginning of even bigger things ahead.

An EXTRA special thank you to Miss Annabelle and Miss Chloe for their beautiful choreography and for being such dedicated, supportive, and nurturing teachers throughout this journey and always. Your passion, guidance, and belief in our dancers means so much and I am so grateful for everything you do 💜

☀️ HALF TERM IS HERE ☀️

Wishing all of our wonderful Dance First families a lovely, relaxing half term break 💛

With the sunshine finally making an appearance, we hope everyone gets the chance to get outside, enjoy some fresh air, make special memories, and recharge for the week ahead ✨

Classes will resume as normal from Monday 1st June and we can’t wait to welcome all of our dancers back into the studio for another exciting half term together 🩰💫

Thank you, as always, for being part of our amazing Dance First community — your continued support means so much to us ❤️

Enjoy the break and we’ll see you all back dancing very soon!
