Marty's Friends Play Group Marty's Friends is a warm and welcoming playgroup for pre-school children. We run from St Martin's Ch

We have plenty of new toys, soft play equipment, ride-on toys, arts and crafts, story and song time with children's instruments. Children play in a safe and structured environment, whilst parents and carers enjoy tea, cake and a chat with old and new friends.

Today we explored the books ‘God Knows All About Me’, ‘I Love My Granny’ and ‘I Love My Grandad’. 💛

Through these beautiful stories, we talked about how much God knows us and loves us; every thought, every feeling, every tiny detail that makes us who we are. We also celebrated the special people God gives us, like our wonderful grandparents, and how we can show them love in return.

The grannies and grandads in today’s stories wore glasses… so of course we had to make our own! By the end of the morning, everyone was rocking fabulous glasses and looking a little bit like Elton John! 🤣

As we craft, play and read together, we gently begin exploring faith, learning that we are known, valued and deeply loved by God, and that loving others is one of the ways we reflect that love.

A joyful morning full of love and laughter! 💕🙏🏼
