🕷️❤️ Best friends make the greatest heroes. ❤️🕷️

With the new Spider-Man movie swinging into cinemas, I thought it was the perfect time to share this little piece of artwork.

I wanted to imagine what a Spider-Man comic book cover might look like if Tarc and I were the heroes.
So I put myself in a Spider-Man T-shirt, gave Tarc the mask, and let our friendship tell the rest of the story.

But underneath the superhero costumes, this drawing is really about something much simpler.

Friendship.

The people who stand beside us, believe in us, make us laugh, pick us up when we’re struggling, and remind us that we’re never quite as alone as we sometimes think.

Tarc was born during a difficult chapter of my own life, and in many ways he became a little reminder that even when life feels dark, there can still be something bright waiting to be created.

And maybe that’s what being a hero really means.

Not having superpowers.

Just having a good heart, being there for someone, and making the world feel a little kinder than you found it. ❤️

Best friends make the greatest heroes.

Calling all event organisers…

Every piece of artwork begins with a single line... and a little bit of heart. ❤️

I’d love to share Tarc’s world with more people, which is why I’m looking for local events where I can exhibit my artwork, meet new faces, and hopefully find forever homes for some of my original pieces.

If you organise, or know of, any art fairs, craft markets, comic conventions, community events, galleries or exhibitions that welcome independent artists, I’d be so grateful if you could get in touch or tag them below.

Tarc’s journey continues to grow in the most wonderful ways, and I’d love to bring that journey to even more people, one drawing at a time.

Thank you for all the kindness and support you’ve shown me. It truly means the world. ❤️🤖

Tarc is looking for events happening…

Some exciting things have been quietly happening behind the scenes for Tarc lately... ❤️

It’s a lovely reminder that sometimes the smallest ideas can grow into something much bigger than you ever imagined.

Because of that, I’d really love to get Tarc out into the world a little more.

If you organise craft fairs, comic conventions, art markets, festivals, community events, or anything where original artwork and creativity are celebrated, I’d genuinely love to hear from you. I’d love the opportunity to exhibit my work, meet people, tell Tarc’s story, and hopefully help these little red hearts find new homes.

There are some very exciting chapters ahead, and it feels like this is just the beginning.

If you know an event organiser, or think Tarc would be a good fit somewhere, please tag them below or send me a message. ❤️🤖

Finding these old paintings has been like opening little windows into my past.

This is another piece from 2016, back when I was still creating under the name BotMan, and Tarc was simply known as Bot.

It shows my beautiful Labrador, Hatch, sitting quietly beside Bot as they watch the world go by. No adventure. No excitement. Just two best friends enjoying each other’s company.

Sadly, Hatch is no longer with us, and not a day goes by that I don’t think about him. But looking at this painting reminds me that love doesn’t disappear when someone is gone. It settles into our memories, into our hearts, and sometimes... into a piece of paper covered in paint.

Finding this artwork again has been such a gift. It has brought back so many happy memories of a wonderful dog who gave us nothing but unconditional love, and of a little robot who was only just beginning his own journey.

Some of the happiest moments in life are the quiet ones. Sitting side by side. Saying nothing. Simply enjoying the company of someone you love.
Those moments never really leave us. ❤️🤖🐾

Tonight is a huge moment for England. Whatever happens against Argentina, this team has already given us so much to be proud of.

From the first whistle of the tournament to reaching this stage, every player has shown incredible determination, resilience, and passion. They’ve fought for every ball, played with heart, and represented England with pride every step of the way.

Win or lose tonight, nothing can take away what they’ve achieved. Reaching this point is a testament to their hard work, teamwork, and belief in each other. They’ve inspired fans across the country and reminded us what it means to wear the Three Lions with pride.

So, let’s get behind the team one more time. Give it everything you’ve got, lads—we’re proud of you no matter the result.

❤️🤍 Good luck, England. Bring the passion, enjoy the moment, and know the nation is behind you all the way. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Some paintings become more valuable with time, not because of what they’re worth, but because of what they remember.

This is another little treasure I rediscovered in the attic, painted back in 2016 when Tarc was still known as Bot, and I was creating under the name BotMan.

It’s a simple self-portrait, but it captures so much of who I was back then. Sitting with Bot by my side, while my beautiful Labrador, Hatch, showers me with kisses. ❤️🐾

Sadly, Hatch is no longer with us, and I’d give anything for one more cuddle. But finding this painting reminded me that art has a wonderful way of holding onto moments long after they’ve passed. Through this little illustration, he gets to live on forever, frozen in one of the happiest moments we shared.

I’m so grateful I found these old paintings. Each one tells a story, each one carries a memory, and each one reminds me why I fell in love with creating art in the first place.

They aren’t just paintings anymore. They’re little time capsules filled with love, laughter, and the people... and furry friends... who helped shape my journey.

Some memories fade. Thankfully, some can be painted. ❤️🤖🐶

Every now and then, life gives you a little gift you weren’t expecting.

While rummaging through the attic, I stumbled across this painting, tucked away and almost forgotten. For a moment, it felt like opening a tiny time capsule. I’d genuinely thought this piece had been lost forever.

I painted this back in 2016, when my wife was still my girlfriend, Tarc was simply known as Bot, and I was creating under the name BotMan.

There’s something that still makes me smile about this illustration. My little robot, completely content, fast asleep on her shoulder, happily being carried home. It’s such a quiet, gentle moment, and I think that’s why it still means so much to me all these years later.

Looking back, I can see how much I enjoyed experimenting with this loose cartoon style, combining watercolours with Posca pens. Even after all this time, I’m still really proud of how it turned out.

Art has a wonderful way of preserving moments we didn’t realise we’d one day treasure. This painting reminds me not just of where I was creatively, but of how far life has travelled since then.

Some paintings tell stories. Others quietly hold memories until you’re lucky enough to find them again. ❤️🤖
