A massive THANK YOU to everyone who supported our vintage afternoon tea party in aid of VSA on Sunday.

We had a fantastic time and are so pleased to announce that we raised £420.60 on the day. Plus fundraising of £175.30 from our choir member Sandra in the run up to the event as well! A total of 🎉£595.90 🎉raised, and still more events to come 🥳

Thanks in particular to Macphie’s for the cake donations, Lizzies Biscuit Box for the shortbread donations, The Venue, Laurencekirk for use of the Hall, Mairi Gougeon MSP for coming along, and all our dedicated members who cooked, baked, donated, served, sold tickets and generally made it a great afternoon. We are blown away by the generosity of our wee community. 😍

To celebrate 150 years of VSA we will be undertaking a number of challenges, culminating in our performance at Sing Sing Sing at Aberdeen’s Music Hall on 22 March.

Our Musical Director, Len Wiltshire begins the first of these challenges today, as he aims to run 150 miles between now and our performance in March! 🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️🏃🏻‍♂️
