Ahhh hello there everyone.... I really hope you're all doing okay, and having a great day today too!!! 👋👋

So yesterday (26th May 2025), I decided to take part in the 'Craft Union National Talent Competition' at the Railway Lancing, with the possibility of perhaps going through all four rounds to hopefully win a cash prize of up to £2000, in the National final. 🤔🤔
So after singing a song of my choice, everyone then voted for who they would like to go through to the next stage... but despite having a lot of votes myself, I unfortunately however, didn't actually quite make it through the first round in first place.... and lost by just one point to someone else, which was a shame!!! 😥😥

But I did really enjoy myself and I'm glad I actually took part. Well, it is the taking part that really counts after all. 🤔😃
Anyway, my entry in to the competition was my rendition of "All Night Long" (by Lionel Richie)... which is an absolute quality tune and certainly one of my all-time favourite go to Karaoke songs too!!! 👌👌

Just would like to say, many thanks to both James Beany Howard and Beth Sarah for hosting.... and also to the lovely manager at the Railway Lancing for very kindly recording this video of myself singing for the contest!!! 👍👍

And hopefully (fingers crossed), there just might be many more opportunities in the future for me to perhaps take part in further singing competitions, with the hope of actually winning a prize next time too...???? But then, who really knows???? Hahaha!!!! 🤔😂

Ahhh hello there everyone... and well, it has been a while, but I am back for a new video, as the 'Lee Hughes Karaoke Show' makes its return!!! Lol. 👋👋😂😂

Hope you're all doing okay out there. I know it has been months since I last made a video, and I remember a time when I constantly used to make a new one, which was mainly back in 2020/2021 during the lockdown, when I originally started this series of recordings!!! 👍👍

Please feel free to take a look at this video, which I recorded on the 6th May 2025 (after months of literally making none whatsoever), and then let me know what you think afterwards!! 👌👌
It's actually one of my newer songs for the Karaoke, which so far, I've only sung a couple of times. However, if you include myself making this video, it's now currently three times singing this song!!! Lol. 🤔😂

This is a brilliant tune by George Benson, and I'm sure you would all have heard it before, as it's definitely one of his more well-known tracks. So please sit back and enjoy my rendition (at home) of "Give Me The Night"... which is just one of many many fantastic songs released way back in the eighties!! This also has to be my favourite era of music.... 😎😎

Ahhh hello there everyone... and welcome back to the 'Lee Hughes Karaoke Show'.
I really hope that you're all keeping well out there and also having a good day too!!! 👋👋

So it's been a long time coming, but I am back again with a recently learned song for Karaoke, which I have already sung a few times during our weekly Karaoke evenings over at The Farmers Lancing!! 👍👍
The last time I actually made one of these videos would have been at the beginning of May 2024, when I decided to take my 'Karaoke Show' to the bathroom for the first time (yes, you did read this correctly!! 😆😆) for a special 'Bathroom Karaoke Sessions' video, which featured a rendition of "Mirror In The Bathroom" (by The Beat). You can see this video on my 'Lee Hughes Karaoke Show' page right now, if you would like to watch it!!! 😎🤣

Anyway, I have returned after months of no karaoke videos, to bring you this one-off recording and hope to also make some more sometime too. And this time, I decided to sing this lovely song by Dr. Hook, which was released way back in June 1976!! 👌👌
Now without further ado, please sit back and enjoy my rendition of "A Little Bit More", which I recorded on the 11th November 2024. This is also a little bit more Karaoke for you all (and me too!!), and I've got to say that it is great to be back after all this time, for another video at least!!! Lol. 🤔😂

Ahhh hello there everyone.... I really hope you're all doing okay, and having a great day today too!!! 👋👋

Please feel free to check out my rendition of a brilliant tune, which sadly I cannot perform at home for my 'Lee Hughes Karaoke Show'... simply because it would honestly be far too loud to sing in the house, and maybe it might even be a little out of tune too if I tried, which certainly wouldn't be great either!!! 🤔🙁

But luckily however, while I was actually at The Farmers Lancing last night (30th May 2024) for our weekly Thursday night of Karaoke (which I've literally mentioned and gave shout outs to in most of my singing videos so far), I was very fortunate to have this song recorded... which is just amazing!! 👌👌
And this is all thanks to my good friend, Angela Marchant, who is also one of our regular Karaoke singers too... so thank you very much for very kindly filming this one for me!!! 😎😎👍👍

So without further ado, please enjoy my rendition of this great tune, which is by Keane and it's called "Bedshaped". But what I really wanna know here is "anyone else keen on this song???".... hahahaha, see what I did there???? 😂😂
Hahaha ohhh dear, I probably make this same joke over and over, whenever I sing any of the Keane songs on Karaoke now.... Lol. 🤔😆🤣🤣

This is certainly NOT just any ordinary edition of my usual 'Karaoke Show' either, ohh noo.... for this is when I wanted to try out something completely different, just for a bit of fun (and just for a laugh) really!! 🤔😂
Well, ever since lockdown in 2020, I have honestly tried out many silly things on these videos... and have tried my best to also keep it different each time, without doing too much of the same thing, otherwise it would probably start to get a bit boring after a while!!! 🤔😂

So then without further ado (and I know it's absolutely bonkers and such a MAD idea after all, but), I present to you... the "Lee Hughes Bathroom Karaoke Sessions" (which I actually recorded on the 20th May 2024). 😂👌
Hahahaha well, I bet you all weren't expecting that, were you??? Lol. 🤔😆🤣🤣

I have actually been thinking about doing this for quite some time now, which perhaps has even been over the past few months or more, but I didn't know if this would actually work!! 🤔😂
So now please sit back and feel free to check out my rendition of an upbeat Ska tune, by The Beat, which was released way back in 1980. And it's one I've never tried out before either!!! 👍👍

Anyway here it is at long last.... so get ready for something a little bit MAD (and certainly a perfect song choice on this occasion).... it's "Mirror In The Bathroom". 🪞🎩😎🎤🎶😆🤣

Here's another video which I hope you will all enjoy listening to, and I managed to record this one on the 7th May 2024.... so please feel free to check it out!!! 😎😎

I decided to just sing the one song this time round, partly due to me doing a lot more singing than usual over the past week!! 🤔🤔
As always, there was our regular Thursday night of Karaoke at The Farmers Lancing (on 2nd May), which is always well worth going to each week... followed by an extra 'Family Fun' Karaoke at The Farmers once again for Bank Holiday Monday (on 6th May), which actually was extended by another three hours, resulting in seven hours of Karaoke in the one day!!! AMAZING!!!! 👌👌
Thanks to both our lovely managers Abi Peters and Jason Henderson, for very kindly allowing our brilliant Karaoke host, Paul Antony Curram, to continue on!!! 👍👍

Anyway, back to the video right here.... and for this time round, I decided to sing a much more chilled out song, as I must admit that I have been singing quite a few loud-ish ones just lately (so I probably shouldn't keep making a regular habit of this, whenever I like to sing at home... as sound can travel further than you think...???? 🤔🤔)

So for something a little bit different, here is a wonderful song by Simply Red, and it's called "For Your Babies"... and I haven't sung this one on Karaoke in a while either!!! 🎤🎶

Anyway, for the fifth one overall, I decided to try out this song, which I've only sung a few times before at the Karaoke... but this right here is my first attempt at singing this in the house. The song itself was released way back in 1979, by the British band 'Sad Café'... and this one is called "Every Day Hurts". 🤔🤔
I wouldn't say this is an easy song to sing either, but I hope you enjoy my rendition!!! 😎😎
