The group was founded back in 2013 after, as artists we became despondent trading at "CRAFT" shows where there were more and more bought in products (mostly made in China) therefore as the name suggests you can only trade with us if you have designed and made your own products. Although we believe there is a place for everyone in terms of what you sell Meet the Makers has a unique approach that t

he person that designs and makes the item has to be the person that sells it. People love handmade and really buy into the group as they meet who has made their new gift. Our commitment to you as organisers for the group will be to create a safe selling space, in prime locations, fully promoted through local press, social media & promo flyers and last but not least to be fair and consistent in our approach when we select our artists and crafters. So if you meet our criteria of making your own designs, want to be part of a great group and get the opportunity to trade at some great shows just fill in the "Contact us" form and we will add you to our current list of talented individuals.

Are you looking for a great friendly market to showcase your handmade products?

Then why not join us at one of our well established markets on the last Saturday’s of the month, starting in September through to December?

We're based in the covered area of St Nicholas Arcades in Lancaster – a busy shopping centre location that's perfect for both established makers and first-time traders.

✨ Handmade businesses only please�✨ Great footfall in a city centre location�✨ Supportive & friendly atmosphere for new traders�✨ Ideal opportunity to meet your customer base.

If you create handmade gifts, crafts, artwork, home décor, textiles, or other handmade products, we'd love to hear from you!

SEPTEMBER 12th is time for our ever popular needle felting workshop where we will be making the rather stunning ‘Gus The Goose’ all under the excellent guidance of Katie from Hartfelts
