Really looking forward to offering this clay workshop at Claver Hill from 12.30 -2pm this Sunday as part of this year's Wild Roots Nature Fest.
Just a couple of places left if you'd like to come and join me. No experience needed. We will take our inspiration from the unique surroundings of the site, set in a bowl in the landscape. With lots of textures from vegetation and and forms from nature there are lots of things to inspire what you might make. Book your place at the link:

Symbolic mark making. Making visible the invisible. That is the beauty of creativity, where simple materials such as paint can be used by the way it is applied to broaden our ability to tell stories, share something that might make us see the world a little differently.

Exhibition continues Wed 3rd June. Every brush stroke is important, how thick the paint is laid down, its direction of movement, the texture and shape the brush leaves behind, how the colours sit together. Each mark contributes to the whole.
