Hot on the heels of last Friday's shenanigans, we're over the moon to announce our next club night.
On Friday 26th June we will be returning upstairs at The Pub with a very special lineup.
Headlining this month are the incredible Blackburn power duo Sky Valley Mistress Favourites of BBC Radio 6 Music and Radio X Combining ferocious fuzz guitar
sounds of Queens of the Stone Age,
the Stooges and Black Sabbath with
the soul smoked sound of Kayley’s
deep rich voice, Sky Valley Mistress
take you through a range of soaring,
delicate and yearning melodies
between peaks of mountainous riffs
and depths of granite-heavy desert
rock grooves. They are renowned for their incredible live shows, so we can't wait for this one!
Next up, we have Manchester based, Worried. Drawing inspiration from The Cure and Black Keys, Worried are a three-piece who've been making loud and sad music since 2018. Over the last couple of years
they’ve spent their summers going up and down the country playing gigs and festivals. In their own words, 'For fans of heart palpitations and crying in the shower'. We're in.
Opening up on the evening will be fantastic local band and friends of the Co-op The Zoffs Supporting the release of their latest single, 'Preston Fog', the band are equal parts post-punk atmosphere and melodic indie-rock. Great to have them back.
