For those who remember our wonderful concert last September, pianist Nicolas Namoradze was recently featured in The New York Times in an article about his Neurorecital project.

This excellent piece by Corinna da Fonseca-Wollheim describes the experience of the recital, the genesis of the project, and key takeaways so far, including excerpts of the neural visualisations and commentary from his collaborators.

The pianist Nicolas Namoradze teamed with neuroscientists for a breakthrough in experiment design.

If you haven't experienced it yet, this week is the final chance to see Invisible Flock's moving installation Microtonal in the Peter Scott Gallery.

Don't miss the opportunity to hear the unique sound of 200 borindos (traditional clay flutes from Pakistan) singing in unison and responding to your voice.

Only two people still keep the tradition of the borindo alive: Allah Jurio, who shapes the borindo from earth, and Faqir Zulfiquar, who knows how to make it sing.

This is a trule one-off artwork so join us this week before it close on Friday!

Gallery open 11am-5pm.

Microtonal is a sound and sculptural installation exploring the stories, cultures and land that can be found in between the notes of the western chromatic scale. It is a collaboration between Faqir Zulfiqar, the master potter Allah Jurio and Invisible Flock.
