Seeds from trees that survived the atomic bomb in Hiroshima are now growing right here at Keele University - part of a global initiative to promote peace, resilience, and remembrance 🌱

And as the world marks the 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings this week, we’re proud to share that one of our seeds has just unfurled its first beautiful ginkgo leaf.

Our dream? To one day plant this tree on campus, where it will grow tall as a living symbol of reflection, peace, and hope for generations to come.
