The Lanark Choral

The Lanark Choral We are a friendly, welcoming choir meeting on Mondays at 19.30 in Greyfriars Church. We're a friendly, welcoming group who enjoy singing. Come along and join us.

We are The Lanark Choral, a community choir, formerly known as The Lanark & Carluke Choral Union, which was founded around 1972. Our repertoire varies from folk, popular songs from the musicals, spirituals, classical and contemporary choral pieces, and we've been also known to throw in some pop, such as songs from George Michael, David Bowie and Leonard Cohen.

A big Lanark Choral 'thank you' to everyone who came along to our Spring Concert on Friday night. We had a great time doing what we love doing; singing a wonderful selection of the best songs. We are so lucky to have Michael as our very talented MD and Conductor. 🎶🎶
