What a day at Seamill Hydro. The weather really threw everything at us for most of the day, but you both embraced every moment and made the absolute most of it.

Then came the sunset. Dark storm clouds, patches of blue sky, and the most incredible light to end the day. It honestly could not have been more perfect.

Thank you both for being so welcoming and easy to be around from the moment I arrived. From the heartfelt speeches to the brilliant dancing later on, it was such a fun day to be part of and photograph.

It was a real privilege to capture it all for you both.

What a joy it was to capture this incredible wedding at Sherbrooke Castle. Even under the soft Glasgow clouds, the sunshine broke through at just the right moments, perfectly reflecting a day that was relaxed, full of laughter, and beautifully genuine.

Here is Sarah and Edward’s sneak peak! What a joy it was to capture their wedding day! They made their vows in the charming Glenapp Church before celebrating in true fairytale style at the magnificent Glenapp Castle. The castle’s beautiful gardens and Victorian glasshouse set the perfect scene for drinks and canapés, and even when the classic Scottish weather rolled in (sunshine, wind, and rain all in one day!), not a single spirit was dampened. There was laughter and love in every moment.

Sara & Kyle’s sneak peek! Their wedding had everything I love about autumn, bright sun, crisp air, and colours that make you stop mid-shot. Sara’s favourite books lined the aisle, a small but perfect touch. Later, we chased the light down by the reservoir and found the kind of golden glow you can’t plan for. They started the night dancing to Heart’s Content by Brandi Carlile, fitting for a day that felt so full and genuine. It was a pleasure to work with Everyone at the Bowfield Hotel! Including, Phil Gorry Photography and Paul, the Scottish Celebrant!

Charlotte and Hong’s wedding highlights! The sun broke through just in time for a beautiful ceremony in the walled garden, setting the tone for a day filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments. This celebration was the perfect blend of Scottish and Chinese traditions; warm, vibrant, and full of love from start to finish.
From the emotional vows to the hilarious and heartfelt speeches (Hong’s was an absolute highlight!), every moment reflected the genuine connection and infectious energy shared by this lovely couple.
It was such a privilege to capture their story, a day where everything felt touched by sunshine and love. Here’s to many more memories as beautiful as this one

Storm Amy thought she could steal the show, knocking out power across the Highlands the night before the wedding. But just two minutes before the ceremony, the lights flickered back on. Cue a huge cheer from the guests (that’s the opening shot!)
They said “I do” at the breathtaking Achnagairn Estate near Inverness. Through wind, rain and a little chaos, the day unfolded into pure joy and celebration. Their adorable toddler, Tommy, dressed in his kilt, stole hearts, and their faithful pup, Billy, made a cameo too
Despite the storm, the love, laughter and fun were unstoppable.
