A little late but these things take time to finalise but we’re finally ready to reveal some exciting news. 🥳

First off thank you for everyone that has sent lovely messages over the past few weeks. It’s so nice reading all the happy memories that you guys have coming to visit Brick Box.

Secondly a big thank you to everyone who has reached out with work opportunities. You are all amazing 🤩

But now it’s time for the good bit. We’ve been able to secure a fantastic opportunity with the awesome kcshack to join their team of TikTok live streamers. We’re going to have our own show weekday mornings which gives us flexibility to continue during some of our workshops, we need to say a massive thank you to them of course!

Home Education sessions are coming back! After School Sessions are coming back and Adult Build Nights will be too.

We start our shows next Monday (15th) and then the following Monday (22nd) we’ll begin our weekday activities again.

This does mean there may be some time changes but we’re hoping to offer sessions on Mondays, Thursdays and Friday afternoons.

There’ll be more info coming over the next few days and we’ll let you know when the sessions are live to prebook on the website.

We’ve got some good news to share with you all tomorrow. After the last few months it’s about time!

In the mean time we’ve had a Creator set in the box at Brick Box for nearly a year, completely untouched and to be honest pretty much forgotten about.

Today we noticed that there’s a Loki model to build… any guesses as to what we’re getting up to tonight?

Saves us having to design our own now.

Do you ever get that feeling when you see a cake that you just want to put your face in it and munch it all up?

This cake was definitely giving those vibes… so much delicious icing.

Thankfully we have some control so don’t worry we won’t be placing our face in anyone’s cake 😂

We had a very creative young man in over the weekend who arrived with no ideas about what he might build.

After an hour this was the result… a really cool plane with all sorts of compartments for storing cargo.

It’s amazing what the power of imagination can create.

We’ve no build sessions this weekend but we’ve some for the weekend after so if you want to get creative with the family with thousands of LEGO pieces you know where we are.

Need something to do this weekend that won't break the bank?

Head on down for a chilled hour in The Builder's Den- our cozy room dedicated to LEGO building with hundreds of thousands of pieces.

Build to your hearts content with our incredible selection of pieces and if you decide you really love your model you can put it on our scales and pay for it just like pick 'n' mix!

Sessions are just £5 per person, per hour and include complimentary tea, coffee and juice.

We're feeling a little broken, like everything is falling to pieces.

Things aren't very easy at the moment for most and we are feeling it too. We've been trying to hold things together for a little while but something has got to give.

Unfortunately with the current economic climate keeping Brick Box afloat is getting tougher and tougher. Last week we had to let our amazing team go in an attempt to save the dream, it was not an easy decision to make and it's one that has caused many sleepless nights.

This week sees the end of our Home Educators sessions and midweek activities, growth of our Bricklink store has also now come to an end which combined makes us even sadder.

Our little business has gone through many evolutions over the years, we've continuously tweaked our model to ensure we can stay affordable, engaging and relevant. After all if you don't innovate you evaporate especially in such a cut throat world but we've now found ourself in a position that in order to push forward we need to take a step back, regroup, recharge and then hopefully try again.

Since 2020 business has never come back to how it was prior to "the event that shall not be named" and since then it's been a fight for survival.

In an attempt to weather the storm of the current destruction that our country is going through we've taken the decision that Brick Box will go into semi hibernation.

Ewan will be returning to full time employment Monday to Friday outside the Brick Box then during evenings will be picking Bricklink orders and at weekends delivering awesome birthday parties and build sessions until times hopefully get better.

In the mean time that does mean that communication through our social media channels and emails may slow down and we'll be unable to open during half terms or for special events.

Although it feels like failure we're trying to stay positive and hopeful that things will get better, it is starting to feel like the game is rigged against us all but perhaps one day we'll all unify against the growing storm.

If anyone knows of any 9-5 style jobs for Ewan do send them his way, at this point all work is considered.🤣

Thank you all again for your continued support through these peculiar times. From the ashes the phoenix will rise once more. Keep smiling beautiful people 😀
