A lot has changed around here so it’s time for a reintroduction… we’re Tim and Annie - a couple, creative partners and the two humans behind Signal House Studios. Somehow working together, living together and travelling together hasn’t killed us off yet. Turns out we make a bloody good team...
Signal House is where our two slightly different brains meet. Tim is a music producer with a brain for all things technical. His background spans engineering, project management and production, so naturally he’s the one who likes figuring out how far we can push an idea (and then actually making the thing work!)
Annie comes from a world of product development, interiors, photography and making things with her hands. She’s more instinctive, obsessive about the tiny details and usually thinking about how something feels just as much as how it looks.
Together we work on projects under one roof. We share the same standards and work ethic, but approach things from completely different angles. We’ve realised over the years that’s our superpower.
Outside of work, we’re usually still together. We love travelling and disappearing off somewhere new, going to far too many gigs, cooking good food and packing up our pick-up truck for a few days of camping. We recently took it around France and would quite happily spend our lives plotting the next adventure.
We love people, places, music, food, stories and the little details that make something feel real. We’re not particularly interested in creating things that feel overly polished or soulless just for the sake of it.
Signal House is still evolving, and so are we. We’re figuring out what we want this little world of ours to look like as we go. Taking on bigger ideas, travelling more, meeting interesting humans and making some really good s**t along the way.
So if you’ve only ever known the work and not the two people behind it… Hey 👋🏼 Two sides of the same studio. And luckily a bit of a dream team. 🖤
