CALLING ANYONE WHO CAME TO OUR AFTER PARTY——- who hasn’t collected their painted bunny!!

We have a fluffle of bunnies left, awaiting collection to go to their artists home!!!

Please please come and collect your bunny…. Most are named but some names we couldn’t read….. so we are unable to match up with contact details!

I think we will only be able to hold them fo the next few weeks or so!!!

Our second visit was to the wonderful Birk Crag Centre, Harrogate.

I have heard and seen the importance of Girlguiding, I know just how much dedication, time and energy is given by the volunteer leaders and support teams who create opportunities for young people every week. From building confidence and friendships to developing life skills, resilience and independence, Girlguiding provides experiences that stay with children and young people for years to come.

The money we have raised will help support the completion of a beautiful, safe, eco friendly and fully accessible centre that will benefit so many children, young people and community groups for generations to come. The centre has been designed to provide activity spaces, training facilities, residential accommodation and outdoor learning opportunities, creating a place where young people can learn, grow and thrive.

We are proud to play a small part in helping bring this incredible project to completion.

I’d love to share what a privilege it has been to finally find time to visit two of the charities supported by this year’s Great Knaresborough Bunny Hunt.

Bunny and I first hopped along to Martin House Children's Hospice to meet the incredible team and learn more about the vital work they do. We were able to hear first-hand how the money raised will help support their exciting redevelopment project, creating the very best environment for children and families facing some of life’s most challenging moments.

Seeing the impact of their work and hearing about their plans for the future was both inspiring and humbling. The Staff are all so friendly, It’s such a gorgeous site and in the sunshine it looked even better!
Martin House provides such invaluable support to families across Yorkshire, and I feel incredibly proud that our fundraising can play a small part in helping them continue their amazing work.

I am passionate about continuing to support this wonderful charity (however I can…. Any ideas!!) and hope that, together, we can keep making a real difference for the families who need it most.

I’m so pleased to announce that money raised from The Great Knaresborough Bunny Hunt 2026 combined with money from this years Auction has totalled….

£4,413!!!!!!!

This means each of our charities

Christmas gifts for the elderly in Knaresborough
Harrogate Neighbours Community Hub
Birk Crag Centre (Girl guiding!)

Will receive £1,103.25 each!!!!

This means the total amount the bunny hunt has raised in 9 years is

£26,892!!!!!

If I was a piece of paper, that had the total amount of money raised from this years bunny written on it………. Where would I be?!

While I look for that, here is Iain…. Who for the last 4 years has supported the bunny hunt by bidding (and often winning!) lots of bunnies in the auction…… Iain is now nicknamed ‘The Bunny Man’ and has quite the collection of bunnies now!!!
