Do you or your child love to perform? Looking for something to work towards? Preparing for and sitting a LAMDA exam is a challenging and rewarding experience, where the journey is as important as the final result!

There a range of levels available, to suit all ages and abilities- Level 3 exams even earn UCAS points, to assist the learner with future university applications! But this isn't just for kids- it really is never too late to start! Thank you so much to everyone who came along to my Public Speaking and Debating workshops last Saturday! We had a great time, practicing our core skills for public speaking and debating, including:
- mental agility,
- creative thinking,
- teamwork,
- concision,
- and vocal and physical expression!

Here are some pictures from the P6-S1 workshop; I saw excellent progress from all the participants in the time we had together and would like to thank them for their hard work and engagement!

I designed this course so that young people from my local area would have the opportunity to get a better understanding of what drama school is like and whether or not it might benefit them. I’m really excited to share what I’ve learned, at drama school and beyond, both in terms of the craft of acting and the experience of working in the entertainment industry. I can’t wait to see you there!

Originally from Kirriemuir, Angus, Imogen trained on the Musical Theatre course at the Dance School of Scotland before being accepted as a scholarship student to the world-renowned West London drama school, LAMDA. She graduated with a First Class Honours degree in 2020 and has since worked with the likes of ITV, Hulu and The National Theatre.

Hello! My name is Imogen Mackie Walker and I’m a professional actor and tutor from sunny Kirriemuir, Scotland! 👋🏼

I trained at The Dance School of Scotland (at Knightswood) and LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art), graduating with a First Class BA (Honours) in Professional Acting in 2020. I also have over five years of experience in tutoring and coaching children and young people in the performing arts, public speaking and debating.

I have the following certificates/memberships from UK regulatory bodies:

Enhanced DBS Check (Children and Vulnerable Adults)
Member of PVG Scheme (Disclosure Scotland)
ICO (Information Comissioner’s Office) Member

I made this page to advertise both my workshops and 1-1 services; I run workshops across Scotland and London and offer 1-1 sessions online.

Finally, I wanted to say- I am passionate that education should be accessible to everyone, no matter their income. I myself benefitted from a tremendous, government-funded vocational training, at The Dance School of Scotland, and received a scholarship covering fees and some living expenses, at LAMDA; this gave me the chance to train in what I love without as many of the associated, prohibitive costs. Therefore, I offer a limited number of reduced-fee and free spaces, for my workshops and 1-1 coaching. These are offered on a need-basis; please don’t hesitate to get in touch to find out more.
