Every year, people from across Orkney and beyond generously give their time, energy and expertise to help make the Festival possible. Their dedication, kindness and commitment create a warm welcome for audiences and artists alike, and we're enormously grateful for everything they do.

The Marian Consort sounded fantastic in St Magnus Cathedral a few nights ago.
This video hardly does justice to how completely their sound filled the space, rich, immersive and carrying through every corner of the Cathedral.

A full room at the Auction Mart and an incredible atmosphere for a band whose roots run deep in these islands. If you were there, you’ll know just how special this one was.

Bubblyjock Collective are back TODAY at 1pm!

They’ll be playing St Magnus Cathedral, with a limited number of tickets still available at the door. Listen to a snippet from their rehearsal yesterday ahead of their performance in Rousay, and if you caught their fantastic performance yesterday, you’ll know this is not one to miss. If you didn’t, now is your chance!

‘Quines’ is a powerful new programme from The Bubblyjock Collective, celebrating female Scottish composers and overlooked women from history, with a newly commissioned song cycle by Lisa Robertson at its heart.

Today’s performance features soprano Rosie Lavery, pianist Anna Michels and accordionist Neil Sutcliffe.
