We are excited to be welcoming a few exceptional and accomplished musicians from the Scottish music scene including Fergus McCreadie, Matt Carmichael, Juliette Lemoine and Chris Amer.

Each of these artists is already shaping the sound of contemporary Scottish music in their own way, and we are proud to showcase their work as part of this year's festival.

The relationship between Orkney and Iceland is one of the deepest and most culturally significant in the North Atlantic, and we’re delighted to celebrate this connection as we mark our 50th anniversary. 🇮🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

From rare UK performances by vocal ensemble Voces Thules, to the UK premiere of the immersive opera Mörsugur, and striking programmes from award-winning cellist Geirþrúður Anna Guðmundsdóttir, there is plenty to enjoy.

The Cooperation Band sits in the top ten rankings in the world, and they are joining us for not one but two concerts at St Magnus Festival later this month, as we celebrate our 50th year.

Here’s a glimpse of what to expect from their set list. This is not one to miss.

Catch them first performing the Invisible Symphony with the Wallace Collection on 26 June at 7pm in St Magnus Cathedral.

Then see them again with Now Westlin’ Winds on 27 June at 7.30pm at Orkney Auction Mart.
