Every year we are absolutely BACK-TO-BACK with tattoos, and always end up having to turn people away, because there just isn’t enough hours in the day…

😱 You are all LOVING the new Permanent Jewellery, and so are we!!! After launching them live online yesterday, 21 bookings came in!!! 🤯🤯🤯 We aren’t surprised, as they are so beautiful and dainty ⛓️✨

We’ve been asked by a few folk that they were confused about the word ‘permanent’…‘does this mean it’s a permanent tattoo of jewellery on your skin?’ 🫣😂 and another question was ‘So does it mean they are permanently welded to your skin? Doesn’t that hurt??’

‘Permanent Jewellery’ means the connecting jump rings are welded together…making the bracelet/anklet/necklace seamless. No tattooing and no pain 🫢 If you need to remove it, you can snip the jump ring and have it re welded at a later date for an additional cost. Hope that helps ✨

A little introduction…

Hi, I’m Eilidh!

I’ve had a passion for beauty and hairdressing from a young age, always doing my family’s hair and nails and dreaming of making it my career. 🫶🏼

School was coming to an end, I started working as a Receptionist at Image after a friend spotted a maternity cover position on Instagram. I saw it as the perfect opportunity to experience salon life. After mentioning my interest in beauty, I was encouraged by Inga to start my beauty training in Thurso, travelling by boat every week while working on reception! 🚢✨

In December 2024, I threw myself in at the deep end and started working self-employed, offering treatments whilst still a Trainee. With lots of support from Inga, I slowly built my confidence and clientele.

In May 2026, I officially qualified as a Beauty Therapist! 🥹🤍

Now, in August, I’m working every day in the salon alongside my second job and have built the most lovely starting clientele. I’m so grateful to everyone who has supported me and trusted me with their treatments.

Making people feel their absolute best is what I love most, and I’m so excited to continue growing doing what I love.

We’re so excited to introduce Vero – Anguana Tatu, joining us at Image on 18th & 19th September!

V is an Edinburgh-based tattoo artist originally from Italy, with a Master’s Degree from the Academy of Fine Arts of Venice.

After moving to Edinburgh in 2018, she worked with Edinburgh Printmakers alongside completing her tattoo apprenticeship at Plus48. She is now a resident artist at Miracles Tattoo Studio in Leith.

Her work is heavily inspired by ancient cultures, folklore, masks and rituals, combining themes of beauty & decay, life & death, dreams & the unconscious.

If her style sounds like a bit of you, this is your chance to get booked in while she’s in Orkney! 👀
