🤎 Let me introduce you to ‘Hobbister’ 🤎 a new autumn/winter colour way - I did do a trial batch last month but they sold out before I updated you 🤎

I have a massive drop of this colour which will be available from Eerieorums tomorrow. As usual Hobbister is available on all weights and various bases.

There are a couple of sneaky pictures of some new yarn bases I am experimenting with in another new colour way ‘Confetti’. I will try and update you when this colour and chosen bases are available - I may sneak a couple into the drop tomorrow 😉

Hi folks - I’m still here working away - just letting you know of a mahoosive wool restock at Eerieorums - ‘including Kissy Lips’ ‘Spearmint’ ‘Teal-icious’ and ‘Disco Inferno’ and a couple of little one off batches - on all yarn weights and a variety of yarn bases

Feel free to visit the shop to stroke and squish the woolly hanks

Oh wow Kerry Black Bunny Crafts is busy weaving- again - she weaves the most fantastic scarves, but you have to be very quick to buy one as they sell out fast 🩷- she also weaves many other items too

More pretty yarn from Knit Orkney 🥰
You can find her squishy yarn at Eerieorums shop in Albert street, Kirkwall.

There is a very exciting reason I have been so quiet on the social media 🤫

I have some amazing news to share with you in the next day or so - more info coming soon.

The dye pans have been very busy, I just haven’t had time to take photos and post on my socials - note to self - must try harder 🫣

🧶 Just a wee heads up that my website is temporarily closed, due to a stocktake and update of my available yarns, following a number of in person events 🧶

Apologies for denying you the ability to buy more yarn 🫣 I will be back online soon

I have been very quiet lately while I plan my spring and summer yarn colours.

Meantime, the wonderful Gabriele from Hackland Wool Shed held a fantastic wool felting class for a small group of friends and myself and we had a brilliant time.

If you see one of Gabriele’s classes advertised, I highly recommend booking yourself a place. I can’t quite believe we produced these fabulous vessels in our first class.

❄️ We still have lots of snow here in Orkney and it looks beautiful ❄️

The wind has calmed down significantly and this evening was beautiful and calm. The snow fell vertically, instead of the horizontal snow of the past few days 🤣

A couple of photos from tonight’s dog walk with chief of staff ‘Queenie the rescue greyhound’ who was camera shy.
