A little over a week on from Jupiter Rising, we are still feeling the energy of an incredible night packed with experimental art, performance, music and everything in between!
A huge thank you to all of the artists who made the programme so special, bringing bold ideas, strange worlds, intimacy, humour and transformation to Jupiter’s landscape.
As the sun set, Holly O’Brien brought us a durational, shape-shifting performance exploring the figure of the mermaid, intimacy and slippery erotics.🧜♀️
Princessa Mangione III’s ethereal performance created a world that felt enrapturing and deeply intimate, through harp, vocals and vibraphone. ✨
And in the red-lit Ballroom, Kirstin Halliday and Aniela Piasecka staged Desert Kingsnake, a performance weaving together serpentine movement with strip tease, from their wider body of reptilian work exploring le***an desire.🦎
A huge thanks to our incredible collaborators, team and everyone who helped bring the festival to life. But most of all, thank you to everyone who came along and made it an unforgettable night. More from the evening coming soon!
