🎭 Thank you to everyone who came along to our Doors Open Day today!

It was lovely to welcome so many folk through the doors of The Turret Theatre, have a chat and share a little of what goes on behind the scenes at Kirkintilloch Players. ❤️

And if your visit has whetted your appetite for some theatre, our next production is The Women of Lockerbie by Deborah Brevoort, running 20th–24th October.

We’re getting ready for WEANS IN THE WOOD — and we’re especially excited that this panto sees us moving back to a bigger hall! 🎭✨ More space, more people and even more panto magic!

This October, Kirkintilloch Players present Deborah Brevoort’s The Women of Lockerbie — a deeply moving play exploring grief, humanity, remembrance and the search for a way forward in the aftermath of unimaginable loss.

We’ve been absolutely delighted by the amazing reaction to our post about the theatre’s new seats! ❤️🎭

We’re delighted to share that we have received a grant from East Dunbartonshire Council towards the cost of renewing our theatre seating. 🎭

As you can see from the photo, the theatre has also been freshly repainted, helping to give the space a real lift.

The new seating would not have been possible without this generous grant, and we are extremely grateful for the support. It means that local people can continue to come along, enjoy live theatre and performances, and do so in much greater comfort.

A huge thank you to East Dunbartonshire Council for helping us continue to improve our theatre for the whole community. ❤️

A few days on and we’re still smiling about The Mixtape – Volume 1! 💗

Here are a few more moments from the show — the big numbers, the quieter moments, the laughs and everything in between. It’s lovely getting to look back at just how much fun we had putting this one on stage.

A huge thank you again to everyone who came along, cheered us on and supported local theatre. We couldn’t have asked for better audiences. 🥰
