After my last post about some work that made it all the way to Australia, it reminded me of another that managed to get all the way to New Zealand.

Mike was a pilot who was retiring after years of flying for Emirates. After flying out of Dubai to all over the world he decided he wanted he head home to New Zealand to relax on his yacht.

His friends Ann and Alan wanted to get him something unique as a present and got in contact to ask if I could do a special piece for him. Mike was delighted with it and it hangs proudly in his office in his home in NZ.

Jenny recently got in contact to ask for a special gift for her U15’s Aussie Football team coach Shane, or as the team know him, ‘Blacky’.

Shane was presented his caricature at the end of the season by the boys from the team and looks delighted with it!

That’s another one half way around the world, making it all the way to Australia! 🌏✈️

Last week Jim turned 70!!

Jim’s stepson got in contact looking for something a bit different for his stepdads 70th birthday. Jim and Lorna love to go for a dance, so it was disco night for these two along with their wee cats! Here’s the two of them with Jim’s special gift.

One of my aunty’s got in contact looking for a special gift for one of her friends who was turning 50. Elmar, who’s from Germany, recently visited Scotland for his birthday and absolutely loved everything about our wonderful country. He especially enjoyed the capital taking in Edinburgh castle and learning about William Wallace, and of course he loved slugging back some Scottish whiskey! Throw them all together and I came up with this! 🤣 Presented to him in Singapore, it’s the 2nd furthest one of my drawings has went around the globe!
