1st band through - Backtrack.
2nd band went through last night in the Glenrothes heat.
3rd band will go through tonight when Sleepless nights and city lights, Vela Pulse and Near Escape Velocity hammer it out tonight at Jordans Nightclub in Cupar, in the East Neuk heat of Bring the Noise - Battle of the Bands. Doors at 6pm - first band on at 7.30
Final is next Friday at Kitty's in KDY.

A yearly Fife wide battle of the bands competition which is now entering it’s 5th year, was devised by young people from Kirkcaldy YMCA and is now organised and run by young people from all over the Kingdom.

We are gonnae stick a document up for bands to fill in with their details inc. band members names and ages, a contact number and address, genre of music and availability for heats. Please spread the word to all bands in Fife.

Heats are starting to fill up already - so if you haven't entered this years battle of the bands competition - gie yerselves a shake and get in aboot it! 12 -21 Only judged on original material. You can play covers as part of your set, but only your own songs (or very creative cover versions) will be judged.
