Go Fund Me Page Is Nudging £10,000!

Anyone who has visited Kirkistown recently has seen the massive amount of earth works being carried out to facilitate the installation of safety signal lights at the corners and other points on the circuit.

The project is going well. The final cost will be in the region of £250,000 and we are receiving or have already received grants for close to half of that amount. The remainder is being funded by the club.

Our Chairperson, Fay Weir, set up a Go Fund Me page, for this project ( https://www.gofundme.com/f/500-mrci-light-panel-funding ) and the response has been encouraging. As of today (21st August) the total raised is £9,997, which is amazing!

Thank you to everyone who has sent a contribution, whether large or small. It is comforting to know that so many people have the future of Kirkistown at heart.
