Mrs Sam K Buller lives with her husband, daughter and her Cockapoo’Shane’ in a cottage, near a wood in Kintbury. After 23 years as a primary school teacher she decided to finally listen to the advice she has been giving her children all these years and is ‘being what she truly wishes to be……’, an artist. She believes in the amazing relaxation properties the woodland invokes and hopes

her paintings reflect a slice of their serenity, enabling all an opportunity to ‘pause’ and just ‘breath’. Sam has been fascinated by texture and colour and has always aimed to express her thoughts and loves through the media of oil and acrylic. She paints on a variety of materials including canvas and glass. She has been inspired by many artists; Rothko for his vision, M. Escher for his brilliance and of course Andy Goldsworthy, pioneer of the environmental art movement.
