For the last couple of years, a lot of energy has gone into trying to find the right space for the next chapter of Browse, operating as a non-profit, community interest company.

Loads of viewings, conversations, ideas, setbacks, almosts, and trying to work out what a proper community-led creative space in Hull could actually look like in real life.

Not just somewhere to throw events, but somewhere that could genuinely bring music, art, independents and people together under one roof.

We’re still keeping a lot quiet for now because there are still steps to take, but we’ve finally found a space with massive potential. The first move is to activate it, bring people into it and carry out some essential real-world testing.

So on Saturday 23rd May, we’re hosting a secret Browse Sessions pop-up somewhere in Hull city centre.

This is the first public test of what a future Browse space could become.

Expect DJs, food, art, garms, drinks and good people from across Hull’s music and creative community.

Limited capacity. Secret location.
