Today we honour a man whose music became a voice for the voiceless, whose rhythms carried truth, and whose courage challenged generations to question, think and stand tall.

Fela was more than a musician. He was a movement, a storyteller, and a symbol of African creativity and resistance whose influence continues to echo across the world.

From Lagos to Hull and beyond, the sound, spirit and message live on.
