The ethos of HARD GRAFT is a D.I.Y. approach to getting more bands / solo acts / anything interesting from the local and national music circuit. Entry to the gigs is always donation-based. PAY WHAT YOU LIKE and the proceeds are split directly between all of the acts.
Hosted in Hull’s legendary Grafton pub (a famous stomping ground of The Housemartins / The Beautiful South) on the last Friday of every month, we’re all about good music and good times!
We’ll be showcasing punk / alternative rock / PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING quirky and off-the-wall. Featuring mixed billings, combining multiple genres on one line-up, we’re aiming to pull from various crowds and bring some solidarity to the local D.I.Y. scene, as well as encouraging gig swaps between bands both local, and from afar.
