Yesterday we had the honour of going to see the wonderful adaptation of William Shakespeares Romeo & Juliet, at Toll Gavel Church, by Dark Immersion Productions. As some are aware we helped choreograph the fight scenes within the production, and to us, it was a welcome reprieve to view the show in its entirety without observing the fights from an instructor standpoint (we did still do that ofcourse)

If you haven't already please look into purchasing tickets for the other showings.

Unfortunately 1 scene was changed due to an actor been taken ill, which we do wish a speedy recovery. Regardless the cast and crew put on a fantastic and heartfelt rendition of Romeo & Juliet

It has been an Honour and a Privilege to work alongside Dark Immersion Productions on there upcoming performance of Romeo & Juliett, we wish them all best for all of there shows, and we can not wait to see the production as a whole.

We appreciate the amazing opportunity you have provided for us, in taking us on with this project. It has certainly been a learning experience for everyone involved.

We had a fantastic 1st session back yesterday with Dark Immersion Productions the cast have really picked up on the combat we have taught them, and are progressing with excellent form! We are looking forward to seeing the final picture in all its glory!

Yesterday we had an excellent session with Ravenwolf Cinematic Combat in Botton Village just near Whitby! We performed at there Halloween Masquarade Ball! We was asked to go and perform a lightsaber demonstration and short fight scene! Very successful and very tiring. But overall worth it.

𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨 & 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐭 - Casting Call

We are looking for two actors to fill the roles "Alderman Paris" and Lady Montague" in our 2024 touring production of "𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨 & 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐭".

The play is set in Hull 1954 and will visit five venues including East Riding Theatre and Spotlight Theatre, Bridlington from April 2024

CHARACTERS:
"LADY MONTAGUE"
Romeo's mother, Montague's wife. She dies of grief after Romeo is exiled from Hull.
Fish wife – think “headscarf revolutionaries". Can now be considered “well to do” but will never forget her roots.
Playing age - 40-50

"ALDERMAN PARIS"
A kinsman of the Lord Mayor, and the suitor of Juliet, most preferred by Capulet.
Once Capulet has promised him he can marry Juliet, he behaves very presumptuous toward her, acting as if they are already married.
Paris is an Alderman of Hull Corporation. Dull. A safe bet and considered of the same social standing as The Capulets.

Playing age 25-35

Rehearsals are Sunday evenings from 7pm-9pm - no rehearsal fees.

This is an amateur production and the role is unpaid. Beginners to acting are most welcome.
