Great Kate Bush poster, simple black frame, imperial purple mount which we thought looked fantastic, diffused non reflective glass.
I know Running Up That Hill should be the audio but the choice is very limited on a business Instagram account 😕

I was asked by local charity; Sailors Children's Society for a quick framing turnaround of this fabulous original artwork 'Girl with the yellow eyeshadow' generously donated by Margo McDaid, known to the art world as Margoinmargate.
The artwork had travelled from Margate to Hessle, then to me, I was happy to help, and framed over the weekend ready to travel back to London for the prestigious Waves of Influence auction held on 9th July where an impressive £50,000 was raised.
Margo's story is an inspiration whether or not you are an artist, I urge you to read it

I visited the excellent Hull Print Collective Summer Exhibition at Studio Eleven, Humber Street tonight, well worth a visit, it's on until 31st August. A great selection of many and varied small scale prints, many if not all for sale, and at very reasonable prices.

I like this framing combination of 'National Assoc. Of Rhyming Poets' founded by Withernsea's celebrity poet Dean Wilson, black/black core mount, distressed red/gold frame, AR70 art glass to improve clarity and reduce reflection.
I also have a signed flyer from his recent book launch at Pave, Prince's Avenue, framed and waiting for collection which is also looking good

An original artwork by local artist Andy Bratton titled 'Together we Rise' we mocked it up together (picture 1) and we both agreed that there was a lack of definition between artwork and mount, a simple change to a black core mountboard and all good.
This has been submitted to Ferens Open, hopefully it will be selected, good luck to everyone who has entries

GO BOLD OR GO HOME, we definitely went for it on this artwork; a limited edition signed print by AKA Josan Gonzales, created as one of the book covers for Neuromancer a novel from 1984 which is currently being recorded as a TV series.

I like posters, this recent Royal Academy art exhibition poster came in for framing recently, I think the choice of mount was excellent, really adding to the poster, this is from a new colour range I have available, featuring 125 different colours - spoilt for choice!
