* Staying Safe *

With a heavy heart we are cancelling the Friday Music in the Marquee following on from the May Festival itself 😑.

When we first heard Corona was coming we thought it was the beer rep, but unfortunately not. Kingsbury Episcopi Parish has always looked after its residents as its first and number-one priority, so safety first and let's cancel.

The May Festival and Music in the Marquee teams have worked so hard all year to organise this weekend, and the community benefits greatly from this. But we must do all we can to stop the spread and limit the impact to the wider community should it carry on spreading as it has.

So - take this time to check in on your neighbours (postcard to do this in the pictures), keep supporting your communities shops, small business and pubs, don't panic buy things you don't need too - and blinking wash your hands!

Sorry Folks - we will be issuing full refunds.

In view of the current Public Health Crisis, we regret to announce that Kingsbury May Festival 2020, including Music in the Marquee, will be cancelled.
Of course, the KMF Committee members, who have already been busy planning and organising for 6 months, are hugely disappointed, but in view of Government Announcements and the fact that we are a major, multi-generation, family event, we have no option but to make this decision.
We should be in a position to weather the financial loses we will incur and are confident that we will be able to return with a great Festival in 2021.
We will be contacting all of our contractors/entertainers/sponsors/advertisers and stall-holders, as soon as possible.

Isn't todays sunshine glorious, if not a bit intermittent! But it is making us exciting for the party on Friday 1st May.

Let us hope this sunshine dries up a few of those puddles that are scattering the levels at the moment. In say that, we are a hardly bunch that have been known to dance in those puddles! 🌦
