We had a fantastic day delivering activities to over 100 Young Carers from schools across the borough 👏🏻

We offer these Activity Days as part of our Active Schools Programme and are looking forward to delivering some more in the coming weeks 😁

Wow! What a great day we had for our West Norfolk Young Carers Primary Activity Day. Along with Alive Active Community we welcomed over 100 AMAZING Young Carers from Hunstanton Primary School, Denver Primary School, Hillcrest Primary School, Downham Market, Howard Junior, West Winch Primary, West Lynn Primary, Clenchwarton Primary and Walpole Cross Keys Primary.

Everyone had a fun time trying out archery, tri-golf, javelin and fencing amongst the activities. New connections were made and lots of fun was had, we even managed to dodge the downpour!

A massive shout out to two of our awesome volunteers for . Pete & Stuart are volunteer coaches at our Ability Counts Wheelchair Rugby League sessions for both beginner & elite participants. Their hard work has helped to put Wheelchair Rugby League in Norfolk on the map helping to get more people into the sport and increasing peoples awareness around it. Well done guys!

A massive shout out to one of our volunteers this week at Alive. Shane Franklin has been a volunteer coach within the community football programme during the 2025/26 season, and work hard to support is with sessions across various age groups. Through his work with Alive King’s Lynn Community Football Shane has completed his UEFA C certificate in Coaching Football at The Football Association. Well done Shane!

Muga Mania is back! 😄

Our current Multi-Sport Mash Up sessions at both North Lynn & Fairstead will now be replaced with our Muga Mania sessions to make use of the brilliant outdoor space and hopefully fantastic weather during this Summer period ☀

Fairstead Muga Mania - Fairstead Centre Point Muga - Wednesday's 5pm-6pm

Come down and play Football or Basketball against other children in the local area all for FREE! 🏀⚽
