I’m getting ready for bear season! 🧸

Yes. I’m going to Canada for a few weeks. And I actually might see some real bears. (In the zoo. I hope not in the wild).

But when I return I might have some memory bears to make.

Don’t forget to get your bear orders in for Christmas. Sorry for using the C word in August. But it takes 4-6 weeks to make. (Depending on how busy I am).

My first pair of shorts. I’ve been wanting to try dress making for years and never had the confidence to try. (Even though I did a course on it). I found the patterns a bit daunting. But I thought I’d give it a go and with help and advice from my friend Marion, I achieved this. I’m very proud of them.

I made a vest top, using some silky fabric from my stash. It was a hard fabric to use. So I sewed French seams, as I don’t have an over locker. I had fun making it.
