⚠️ PSA for players hunting for free games: watch out for scams
Been hearing more reports lately of "free" D&D/TTRPG games on LFG servers and Facebook groups turning out to be anything but. A few patterns to watch for before you commit:
🚩 Asked to pay before session one — for character art, "uniform" tokens/maps, or a shared asset pack. Legit GMs don't need your money before you've even met them.
🚩 Vague or brand-new profiles — no session history, no reviews, nobody in the group vouching for them.
🚩 Pushed off-platform fast — straight into DMs, then straight into a payment link.
🚩 "Buy this on my link" — for content that's normally free or cheap through official sources. Sometimes it's a resale scam, sometimes it's just harvesting your money for content that never existed.
The simple rule: a free game should stay free until you've actually played and trust the table. If someone's asking for money upfront with no track record, walk away.

Hello Geeks n Gamers.
I've been using Pazi to build QuestMatch, an app that matches Games-Masters with Players, inspired by dating apps.

We've all seen the memes where someone asks for this to be a real thing, and I'm also aware that some websites and apps have tried to do it, yet there's still a demand for an easy-to-use table-finder app.

The Gate opens once a day. One person is admitted.

We have open seats available in the Cinder-Rain DnD campaign

I'll be hosting a free session zero/ one-shot to bring new players on board at 8pm UK time today on the Games n Geekery Discord server.

It's essentially a steampunk setting. Lots of Victorian age-of-steam inspired architecture, engineering and social structure. The buildings are sooty, the air is smoggy, and every now and then, hot cinders rain down from the sky.
