Wheely Different Theatre Company Formed in 2013 as a 40 week project that not one member wanted to end, so, we carried on! Theatrical training for adults who have different abilities.

We had to do Sweet Caroline of course, rolling out the old pom poms with our latest cast member Orwell the Bear !

Well...the longest day is here its true!
And there is still so much to do!
More daylight means more time to play!
And sort the costume washing day!
Rehearsal days now fly so fast,
We blink once… and rehearsal’s passed!

Sequins everywhere we tread,
Henry Hoover looks on in dread!
Sparkles stuck from floor to hair…
We’ll still find sequins here next year!

June 18th 2026 – Christopher Alan Parsons Cup

The winner of the 2026 Christopher Alan Parsons Cup is Hannah Carroll. The award was presented by Suzanne Parsons and proudly handed over by previous winner Helen Walker.

Hannah had recently commented that she sometimes wished the week would go quicker so she could get back to rehearsing with everyone at Wheely Different Theatre Company. That kind of commitment, enthusiasm and sense of belonging is truly award-winning in itself.

What makes this award especially meaningful is that the recipient is voted for by fellow members, making it a genuine recognition of friendship, encouragement and dedication within the group.

Congratulations Hannah — a very deserving winner of the Christopher Alan Parsons Cup.
