Jessica McGilvray making her debut appearance in a main show with the task of playing two parts alongside fellow actor Charlotte Jones. We cannot say too much but, we think you are going to enjoy her performance! Jess has of late been of enourmous help to the team, stepping in to cover rehearsal duties and especially at our props making session. We are very proud of how Jess has improved confidence enough to take on a new challenge in life.

Our Friday featured cast member, Samantha Leake. With us from the start and in every single performance be it a.show, dance festival, event, tour or any aspect of fundraising. Playing this year as Christobel, the Spirit of Christmas, her role is to counter the villain in our show and with her team of Faith, Hope and Charity, sprinkle a touch of Twinkle magic in the process. Sam is always the first to learn her lines ( and often knows the other actors lines as well), and is for many reasons, a real trouper. We all send her our love and cannot wait to see her in full on Samantha mode!

No, but WDTC were knee deep in crackers and wrapping paper today in rehearsals.
Our tree, well its in production and has been crafted by Wheely Stitched.
Our moves today, strictly Wheely Funfit seated dance and all in all, wheely getting on with it!
With 8 rehearsals left, it is soon showtime for the elves!
Too soon to wish you a Merry Christmas ???

Gwen Knight, friend to many in the WDTC family, joined to support son Adrian but has gone on to appear in shows, dance festivals and our local.events. Gwen plays the nurse in our show, providing an injection of humour and a touch of matron like attitude to try and help Elfie believe in himself. We know.you are going to love her as we all do!

Next up, Elaine Kirby mainly concentrating on producing the show but will make a cameo appearance here and there as Dolly Mixture who is the head of elf resources and catering. Expect a touch of humour and audience participation from Elaine in full on Dolly mode!
